Dear Parents,
It is with heartfelt sadness that I must inform you of the death of a Parkview student. Yesterday, an automobile on Warwick Road struck Meghan DeBlasio, a third grade student. This morning Meghan passed away as the result of the serious injuries that she suffered.
As you can easily imagine, the entire staff and student body of the district has been profoundly saddened by this tragedy. Counselors have been made available to speak with all of those who have been affected. In addition, support has been made available from the Camden County Office of Education and Stratford Police Department.
It would be most appropriate for all Stratford residents to keep the DeBlasio family in our thoughts and prayers at this time of such a terrible loss. Please be assured, as soon as additional information becomes available, it will be communicated to all families in the district.
