"My mother saved everything. Both of my parents have been gone for a number of years, but I continue to go through boxes of stuff, trying to consolidate everything down to just a few boxes that my son will someday have to deal with. I found some old Stratford memorabilia that visitors to Stratford Online may enjoy. In 1963, we moved to our brand new "Stratford" model, Laurel Mill Farms home on Academy Drive. The house was a palace compared to our previous Levitt house on Long Island, NY. I grew up in that place and Mom and Dad lived out their lives there. I had a tough time walking out the front door for the last time in late 1998. We picked up this brochure in '63 during one of several visits to the developer's office in a model home across from Sterling Arms Apartments. It promoted the four models Bob Nyce was building at the time. I believe this was the last phase of the Laurel Mill Farms development. Amazing, the stuff you save, huh?"
